The short version: Your CV never leaves your device. We process job descriptions to generate your cover letter, then immediately discard them. We don't collect personal data, we don't track you, and we don't sell anything.

The only purpose for which we process any data is to generate your tailored cover letter and CV suggestions. Job description text is sent to our API proxy, passed to Anthropic's Claude AI model to generate a response, and the result is returned to your browser. Nothing is retained.
We use Anthropic's API to power our AI features. See Anthropic's privacy policy for how they handle API inputs.
Your CV is stored using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API, which is sandboxed to the extension and stored on your local device. It is not synced to Chrome's cloud sync.
Our API proxy runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Requests are processed in Cloudflare's edge network. No request data is logged or stored by us.

Because we don't collect personal data (your CV never leaves your device), most of these rights are satisfied by design. To delete your CV from the extension, go to Settings → Remove CV. To delete any account data held by ExtensionPay/Stripe, contact them directly.
The ApplyAI Chrome extension does not use cookies. This website (applyai landing page) does not use tracking cookies.
ApplyAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify users via the Chrome Web Store listing.
